This website prototype was a school project. Working with my partners Kara McKintosh, Macy McClish, and Annika Snow, we worked together to develop a potential website to help foster kids connect well with their mentors via the non-profit we chose, WayAlliance. To that end, we developed WriteWay, an emotion-tracking journal website that would be accessible anytime a foster kid has internet access. The website would allow kids to manage their emotions, write how they feel, and communicate with mentors assigned and vetted by WayAlliance. My job for the team was developing the emotion icons used throughout the site, building the calendar and settings pages, prototyping small functional details, correcting connections throughout the site, and doing checks on the entire prototype to make sure all elements were functional and matched the brand.
