This ad campaign was a school project. Café Momentum is a Dallas-based restaurant whose primary focus is not food, but the cooking staff. By employing high-risk youth on their last strike and rehabilitating them by training them in food preparation and service, the Café turns the lives of vulnerable teens around and gives them a new shot at life. In order to share this message of hope, a series of typography-based print advertisements was assigned. Using photo-manipulation, optimistic color theory, and simple typography applied to original copy writing, the series of print advertisements creates a pattern that can be easily expanded into a major series of several more equally cost-and-time-effective advertisements.
